The Showdown is Back!

The Nashville Talent Showdown is back for 2018, and coming to a town near you!

If you, or someone you know, is an aspiring Inspirational Country Music artist, this is your opportunity to let your talent shine!  When you enter the Showdown, you’ll have the unique opportunity to perform in front of a group of well-known Inspirational Country Music Artists and Industry Professionals.  You’ll gain priceless feedback, one-on-one coaching, and the chance to network with other aspiring artists while helping you to grow your music career!

Winners from the regional competitions will advance to the national finals in Nashville, and compete for some amazing prizes!  The Grand Prize includes the opportunity to perform on the Inspirational Country Music Awards Show!

Carlsbad, NM Results

In the adult division, Courtney Bradford took first place with her rendition of “The Prayer”, originally by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli.  Courtney, a Carlsbad resident was cheered on by her family who attended the event as well in support.

Tirzah Dach, also a Carlsbad resident, went on to place second after singing “On My Knees” by Jaci Valesquez.  Lastly the duo Joseph and Robert Sturdevant, who placed third, provided a rock ballad for the event with their version of “I See Fire” by Ed Sheeran.

Youth division also brought a unique platform to the competition this weekend. Audrey Martinez, a young woman who traveled from Artesia, New Mexico placed first.

The Huckabee Young Musician Award went to Robert Sturdevant who performed a guitar piece by Avenge Seven Fold.
